She has Risen

A bright light shined down from each separate star. They created a small circle that swirled the grains of sand upward, each grain came together to form a wall of creation. Mother of All could be seen by everyone in the land as she gracefully took each step. She hovered over the enclosed circle. Her mighty eyes closed and a small blue light twinkled in the center, it was a paw's length from the ground. Two green eyes appeared from the blue light. A small figure faded into the twinkle along with them. Mother of All's eyes opened as her paws controlled the light. She threw the twinkle upward and a blue flash spread across the land. The cub was carefully lowered down to the earth, she lay sleeping beauteously on the beach. Mother traveled down to her and licked her daughter gently on the cheek, "Now is your time my dear, take advantage of it. Your life will be full of excitement and I promise you that darling. A loving cheetah will find you and take care of you, trust her and you will stay safe. Good luck, I love you Arikara and will always watch over you." Mother of All took herself upward to the skies and turned around, another pink flash bellowed across the land quickly. "May you have the power of the land my sweet.", she spoke in a whisper and disappeared into the stars.

Damian in his idea of exploring was walking along when he saw the scene of what just transpired before him. This left him in wonderment and awe. He ran to where the newcomer had landed. The mothers voice was very gentle in tone and it comforted even his soul. What he saw when he got there,there was a small cub just like himself. He looked at the new cub curiously.

Jade orbs flashed a gleam of light as they opened for the first time. The fragile figure laid on her back gently looking up at the cub. Her head tilted slightly in wonderment, for she had never seen another cub before. A loud and quick sneeze blew out of her as her eyes closed quickly. A faint purr lingered underneath her unique striped coat. She hopped to her feet keeping her luring eyes on the cub, "I'm Arikara. What's your name?". Her voice was young and full of life as her orbs showed a hint of curiosity.

"My name is Damian." he said with a happy curiousity. "Arikara, thats a pretty name." Damian began to purr in a happy manner. His tail swish lazily back and forth. He was definitly curious about this new female cub and how and where she came from.

Damian. The name raced through her mysterious mind and claimed a spot for eternity. Every sight she sees, feeling she feels, or taste she tastes would stay in her mind forever. Her eyes seemed to smile as a wide tooth-filled grin took over her striped face. "I know it is isn't it?" She pranced around him, secretly looking at his features. This was a cub that she didn't want to forget. Her ears perked forward, "My mom is pretty awesome at picking names." A small giggle came out gently accompanying her purr that still stayed strong. She sat back on her haunches gracefully, "Where are you from?"

"Well not form these parts for sure." he said with a grin. 'I just came this way to snoop around a bit since no one has claimed this land yet." his right ear twitched slightly in the breeze. He letthe soulds of the ccean wave caress in his mind. "Isn't the ocean beautiful." He was stumbling over himself now. He kinda like the girl. He never met one quite like her before. He got lost in looking at her breifly and the looking back at the ocean.

An eyebrow arose quickly, "Well surely this land is claimed." The eyebrow relaxed and came back down with ease, she always gets protective when it comes to her family. She smiled sweetly, "My mother owns this land, along with the other Gods." Her eyes travel from him to the ocean slowly tasting the salty air in her lips. Softly, she licks her lips wanting to get the full effect of the taste. This was a taste she loved, for this was the place she always looked down on from her birth in the Great Beyond. "This is the only place on this earth that they can really call their own and I kind of like that no one can claim it. It just means the more fun we can have." The last spoken sentence was with an excited tone as a large, toothy grin flashed her thorn-like cub teeth.

"Yeah your right." he said with a sigh and then he sneakingly put a paw out and touched her on her shoulder. "Tag your it!" And then he ran. he hoped that she would follow or know how to play such a simple game. Damian laughed a little.

Arikara began to growl slightly flashing her young teeth, "Why would you hit me?" She spoke with much disappointment, "I thought we were friends." Her rear end arose with her forepaws on the ground. The large tail of hers began to twitch with annoyance.

"Don't you know how to play tag?" Damian said as he skidded to a stop. He ears went low. He didn't try to hurt her. His tail sagged low. He was just trying to have fun. He now felt bad. Tag was something he was used to playing. He didn't think that someone such as her would not know about the game. "Look I'm sorry.......I'll go avay then." he said sadly as he walked away tail between his legs.

Arikara laughed a little, "I was just kidding." Her large paws brought her forward and she nipped at his tail quickly. She bounced backward instantly, "I know how to play tag, sorry to bring you down I didn't mean to." A large toothy grin appeared in her flawless muzzle trying to get him to smile. In the mean time she sneaked back inside of a large Sequoia Tree trying to hide.

In the distance leaves began to rustle, you could hear footsteps of two cats coming toward them both.

Arikara scrambled to get inside the tree, "Damian! Come on!" Her tone was in a loud whisper as her oceanic eyes looked out to find him.

"Okay coming." Damian rushed over to where she was. He looked at her with concern because he heard the sound too. He couldn't make out what was going on at first but then he heard every sound that eminated on the beach. There were others around here besides them. "I'm kinda scared." Damian whimpered quietly.
