First Blood

Two cats enter the humid desert in search of a hunt. The desert is the vast dirt and some minor sandstorms can hinder activities and going on's in there, but it didn't seem to do anything to these females they where determined to have somefun and get some grub out of it as well. A black panther with ruby eyes was behind the one that was called Elise and she (slash) crouched and went slowly in order to keep the suspense of any prey out her as not to give away therre business or scent. She says in hushed tones "So what do u think is good for ating and having the most fun with out here?" As she turned her gaze to her new companion and tip of the pride chain of command besides the male of couse, but that was besides the fact for now.

OOC: What do u think? Not to much is it? Do be mad if it is i can just make some adjustments or u can make some adjustments to it.

Elise's ruby eyes scanned the landscape quickly in search of an entertaining meal.

~:: There were many choices for a meal among the vast landscape. The closest meal was a family of prairie dogs that looked like they just got back from a meal. This means they were nice and plump for prey. ::~

Her eyes pinned on the family of prairie dogs and a sly smirk appeared across her face. The sleek figure of hers crouched down gracefully. Her shoulders alternated up and down with eagerness to catch the prey. "You have to catch a minimum of two when we go, I will catch four. Two for me and two for Karuk." She noticed that Slash would not blend in with their surroundings, this frustrated her, "You will have to work extra hard to make them not see you because you are the complete opposite of this sand."

"Is there anything between us and them?" She said as she surveyed her surroundings. She saw mostly flat land, but not to far was some little sand dunes. just barely out of reach of their prey. She thought if she could get to those dunes i can be able t odo something. She thought strategically of the land and that. The ground was getting hot and the sand felt like little pebbles than sand at teh moment. The heat could of made an omelet or a egg.

The pads of Elise's feet began to sink into the grains of sand. They had to keep moving forward. Her head led the way staying low, hoping to keep her presence undetected. Her eyes were of passion. Her tongue ran along her scorched lips, longing for a meal. "It doesn't look like it. This shall be the ultimate challenge for you." A slight laugh lingered in her powerful jaws, that in which could easily snap the prairie dogs in half. She continued to advance forward.

~:: They prairie dogs are unaware of their presence. Though a slight shift in the wind could alter that. They are very alert at the moment, but luckily the look-out is facing your opposite direction. ::~

She moved with caution go on the left flank of Elise in order to encounter their prey. She surveys as she moves forward as beads of sweat reach her brow. 'Crap! oh well i guess i gotta learn somehow' she thought to herself as her lips started to get warm from the powerful heat of the sun. She moves as slow as death and seems as if a shadow of Elise's hopingthat she wouldn't be spotted by the prarie dogs for she wanted to make it look as if she was her shadow for she was a dark color and about the same shape.
Her ruby eyes darted over to Elise's and nodded her head because of what she'd said about this being the ultimate challenge for her. She didn't want to blow the chance of a meal and playtime with the prey as well. She was keen on torturing the little things while eating them if it came to that. The pads of her feet slide across the sand trying not to make the least amount of sound as she could for her blood was rushing and her adrenaline was pumping as if it was on fire and wanted to run and snatch up one of them, but she knew that they'd just pop into one of their holes before she could get to them. So she waited patiently going at the same speak as her counterpart, but a little aways for the shadows always lingered away from the object.

~:: The family continues to be oblivious of your presence. Though their senses strengthen as a storm in the distance begins to brew. The lightening strikes down often, rumbling the lands. ::~

Elise stayed focused. Her senses tingled at even the thought of eating. Some drool crept out of her mouth, but her tongue soon followed to clean it up. She inched forward, creating a faster pace to advance with. Her stomach brushed against the grains of sand. The paw prints of hers became engraved as each grain shaped to its intimidating shape. She continued forward, not caring where Slash was. Hunger had taken over by now and would kill anything to satisfy her ongoing pain.

Slash is deep in thouht while being cautious as to not give away the specific spot of where she was. Her blood was pumping and her pulse jumped to a fast rate cause of the adrenaline. She wanted to taste the blood to ravish in its sweet nectar taste. 'mm.m...' she thinks in her head and she stopped for the moment to crouch low as to be more like the shadows and became two-dimensional in a ways. Her muscles tense and she wants to just rush up to them and rip their ruddy heads off and eat it whole.
